The home is supported by the Operations Manager, Ryan Harris. He has developed his skills and knowledge in the industry through working in the private and public sector of Adult Social Care.

Ryan has completed his NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management. He is an accredited trainer delivering a variety of training in specialist dementia care. He has worked as a Turnaround Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager, Registered Manager for a large Nursing Home and most recently worked with East Sussex County Council as a Market Support Officer.


Ryan’s wealth of experience is now being utilised to achieve the best outcomes for Camowen and our service users.


The Deputy Manager holds NVQ Level 5 and has extensive experience in the care sector


The Care Coordinator and night care supervisor hold NVQ levels 2, 3. Knowing that the leadership of the home is critical to all its operations we aim for a management approach, which creates an open positive and inclusive atmosphere, where we can offer appropriate assistance and support to our residents and staff.

As Training is high on our list of priorities, we aim to develop staff through in house training programmers and offer the opportunity to partake in nationally recognized qualifications such as NVQs. At present, we employ 26 staff who together with their qualifications and experience provides an excellent basis for care.
